Registration for the 2012 WHGL Season is OPEN!
Registration for the WH Girls' Lacrosse League is NOW OPEN! SPACE IS LIMITED.

PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING URL TO ACCESS OUR WEBSITE:
www. WHGirlsLax.com

PLAYERS: To register, use the tab on the left hand side of the main page of the website (REGISTER ONLINE).  Only female athletes in grades 1st grade to 8th grade residing in West Hartford are eligible to register.

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS: anyone interested in helping coach or in another capacity in the league can also register online, same location.

PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE:  SELECT THE APPROPRIATE DIVISION FOR YOUR DAUGHTER. The DIVISIONS HAVE CHANGED!!!!

New Grades/Divisions for 2012 Season:  In order to be consistent with the other towns that play in our league and throughout CT/MA as well as with US Lacrosse direction, we are modifying what grade plays in what division.

Kindergartners: we will create a Crazy Laxster's Skillz division in April. Stay tuned!

All 1st and 2nd graders will be in the Instructional Division: one 1-hr practice and a 1-hr game on Sat per week at Duffy and one jamboree for the season.

All 3rd and 4th graders will be in the Bantams Division: Average two practices and one game per week and two jamborees for the season.

All 5th and 6th graders will be in the Juniors Division: Average two practices  and one game per week and two jamborees for the season.

Seniors Division will be divided into 7th grade only teams and 8th grade only teams. Average two practices and one game per week and two jamborees for the season.

Reminder: The Bantam, Jr and Sr level divisions are travel teams.  Four of the team's eight games and two jamborees will be away games. Because of this, we INSIST that if a player signs up for WHGL in those divisions they are committing to lacrosse as their PRIMARY sport for the spring season.  The players must make a minimum of 75% of practices and all games and MUST communicate to the head coach of any absences PRIOR to the event.

Reply to this email with any registration questions and thank you for your interest in this great sport and this awesome league!

Have a great winter season of sports and fun and we can't wait for the snow to melt and get on the turf fields in March to start playing.

Sincerely,
