WHGL Scholarship Applications Now Open for 2026 Seniors

The West Hartford Girls Lacrosse (WHGL) program is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 WHGL Scholarship. Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who have participated in the West Hartford Girls Lacrosse program and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

Eligible applicants must have played at least one season with WHGL and one season of high school lacrosse. Students graduating from any high school—including those outside Connecticut—may apply as long as they meet these participation requirements.

Applications must be submitted online and include a high school transcript, a 400–600 word essay titled “What West Hartford Girls Lacrosse Meant to Me,” a list of extracurricular activities or work experience, and a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s high school lacrosse coach.

The application deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026.
